Welcome to the Amos Shinkle Townhouse

Room Accommodations & Rates

Built in 1854 by Amos Shinkle, one of the area's most prominent 19th century figures, the Amos Shinkle Townhouse retains the beauty and grandeur that defined elegance during the era.  Vaulting sixteen foot ceilings are featured in the main house, along with intricately detailed cornice work and beautifully crafted woodwork and flooring.

There are a total of only six rooms available, each equipped with a private bath and shower,  telephones, cable television and wireless Internet access, and each is tastefully and uniquely decorated using antique period pieces arranged to provide the comfort and convenience desired by today's busy traveler.
